This show is a tour of Ireland...Dooneen to Knock to Macroom...County Clare, County Roscommon and Kennedy's Pub. I can picture him with a pint singing songs the common folk live and breathe. His brogue reminds me of my father and his music follows me around.

When on stage, he was 15 ft tall. When he cut loose on his "angry ballads", it was as though he was wringing your heart out. I still get chills when I listen to his rendition of "Falling Slowly", or "Fairytale Of New York". I remember being completely spellbound.
